The existing damage in a wood beams pavilion roof makes necessary its replacement with a new roof. The new roof should keep the original volume and the external finish in old tiles by urban obligation.

On the other hand, the intervention is expected to recover the internal space as a neutral white space where to incorporate the material of the ceramic floor as a protagonist of the room. Therefore the steel structure and the ceramic panels are painted in white matt colour, just similar to the existing walls.

As regards construction, the system of wood beams that rest over the central ridge of the pavilion roof was recovered. The damaged wood beams were replaced with new IPE-120 steal beams, and the wooden planks were replaced with ceramic panels which rest in the flange of the metal beams. The long plank situated along the ridge of the roof was replaced with a long steel strip in order to ditribute the stresses of the beams to the ridge.

Over this structure, a layer of thermal insulation panels and a layer of compression concrete topping were placed. Finally it were put the new old-apparence tiles, as the original old tiles were so different each other and they were the cause of the previous existing water filtrations.
